Dr. Danhu Lin obtained her Ph. D. in Applied Psychology in 2008. She is registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario and under Supervised Practice by Dr. Tammy Morell-Bellai, offering her services to individuals aged 18 to 70 years old.
Dr. Danhu provides a range of comprehensive psychological assessments and evidence-based psychotherapies. Her assessment and treatment primarily focus on anxiety, depression, addictions, eating disorders, parenting, work injury WSIB, bereavement, anger management, relationship issues, and sleep issues.

APPROACH

Dr. Danhu practices primarily on evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) frameworks tailored to each individual. At the heart of her work is the belief that change happens when people feel safe, understood, and respected, grounded in the following pillars:

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Dr. Danhu has extensive training and experience delivering evidence-based psychotherapy in addition to experience in research with diverse populations, including university students, parents, working professionals, and individuals from various cultural and social backgrounds. Her expertise ranges from anxiety and depression to work-related stress, parenting, emotional regulation, relationships, and sleep difficulties.

ABOUT

Outside of her learning and working, Dr. Danhu explores nature through hiking and culture through travelling and reading, deepening her appreciation for wellness and cultural sensitivity.
