SERVICES
Dani is a Psychological Associate (supervised practice). She provides comprehensive psychological services for children and
adolescents, including both assessment and therapy. Her assessment work focuses on identifying Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Giftedness. Through these evaluations, Dani helps families and educators gain a deeper understanding of each student’s unique learning profile and develop strategies that foster academic success and personal growth. In her clinical practice, Dani supports children and teens who are experiencing anxiety, worry, stress, sadness, or low self-esteem. She works collaboratively with clients to help them build confidence, regulate emotions, and develop healthy coping strategies. Dani also supports the development of executive functioning skills such as organization, planning, impulse control, and flexible thinking, as well as social skills that strengthen friendships, improve sibling relationships, and increase comfort in group settings.
APPROACH
Dani’s approach is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. She draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and her
extensive background in education to tailor her interventions to each child’s needs. Her work emphasizes helping clients understand themselves, build resilience, and develop the tools they need to thrive. Dani is deeply committed to inclusion and accessibility,
ensuring that every child feels understood, supported, and empowered to reach their potential both in school and in life.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Dani Hazan completed her Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Arts from York University, and her Master’s Degree in School and Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Toronto: Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. Dani brings a rich and diverse background across both educational and clinical settings. Before her clinical practice, she spent several years as a special education teacher, with a specialized focus on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing population. This experience fostered her dedication to inclusive education and accessibility, shaping her ability to support neurodiverse learners and those with sensory differences. Her combined expertise allows her to bridge the gap between educational needs and mental health, providing integrated support that helps
children succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
ABOUT
Dani enjoys spending time with her family and going on travelling adventures whenever possible.
